However, on June 1, he was deported to Azerbaijan, after which he was repeatedly interrogated by the law enforcement agencies of Azerbaijan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was asked about the activities of Azerbaijani political emigrants in Europe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On October 22, after another call to the security forces, there was no information about him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Only today the lawyer Nemat Karimli managed to arrest Orudzhev on October 24 by the decision of the Narimanov District Court for 4 months.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was charged under Art. 234.4.3 (drug trafficking) of the Criminal Code, under which he faces up to 12 years in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Popular Front Party considers the arrest of Orudzhev politically motivated.<\/p>\n\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An activist of the Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan (PFPA) Mutallim Orujev was arrested on charges of drug trafficking.
