Jalil Zabidov was arrested for 25 days. This is stated in a statement from the Movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Zabidov was detained yesterday afternoon in a cafe in the Yardimly&nbsp;region, where he permanently resides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A few hours later the district court sentenced him to 25 days in custody, finding him guilty under Article 535.1 (failure to obey police) of the Code of Administrative Offences.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Movement believes that Zabidov is being prosecuted for harsh criticism of the country&#8217;s leadership in social networks. It was not possible to obtain comments from the Interior Ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Note that Zabidov had repeatedly&nbsp;been arrested for his statements on social media.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Democracy-1918 Movement member arrested.
