Blogger Rashad Ramazanov, also known as Rashad Agaaddin, has been charged with large-scale drug trafficking. By a court decision, a measure of restraint in the form of arrest for a period of 4 months was chosen against him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She learned about the charges and her husband’s arrest from a lawyer assigned to a blogger at the expense of the state.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Human rights activist Rufat Safarov also doubted the credibility of the accusation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On his facebook page, he recalled that Ramazanov had already once – in 2013-2019. was a political prisoner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The human rights activist is convinced that Ramazanov is being persecuted for his sharp criticism of the authorities on social networks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u201cSo far, the details of the case have not been clarified. However, apparently, like last time, drugs were planted on him,\u201d Safarov wrote.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Article 234.4.3, under which the blogger is charged, provides for a penalty of imprisonment from 5 to 12 years in prison.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rashad Ramazanov was arrested in May 2013 and subsequently sentenced to 9 years in prison on charges of large-scale drug trafficking. Local human rights organizations, believing that the real reason for his arrest was criticism of the authorities on social networks, recognized Ramazanov as a political prisoner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
