Gafarov was sentenced by the decision of the Yasamal District Court to a year in prison on charges of slander and insult (Articles 147 and 148 of the Criminal Code of Azerbaijan).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In particular, the court found him guilty of &#8220;insulting&#8221; veterans of the Karabakh war.
