This was reported to Turan by the politician&#8217;s brother Galib Togrul.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to the decision of 20 September, the Azerbaijani government should conduct an examination and treatment of Gubad Ibadoglu in a specialised clinic. At the same time, the authorities must regularly inform the ECHR about the results of treatment.<\/p>\n<p>Gubad Ibadoglu&#8217;s lawyers filed a complaint with the ECHR in late August over the lack of proper medical care.<\/p>\n<p>*On 24 July, the Narimanov District Court of Baku arrested Gubad Ibadoglu for 3 months and 26 days on charges of making counterfeit money. The Azerbaijani Interior Ministry said Ibadoglu is linked to supporters of Fethullah Gulen, accused of a 2016 coup attempt in Turkey. On 25 August, he was charged with another charge of &#8220;production, storage or distribution of religious extremist materials&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Gubad Ibadoglu rejects the charges, considering them absurd.
