\nHasanli has banned from meeting and talking to his relatives, and then from communicating by phone with his lawyers. All this happened after his complaint to the Ombudsman.
\nThe management of the remand centre warned him that if he continued to complain, his “situation would get worse”.
\nWhen asked to comment on this report, the prison authorities said that they would look into the matter and provide information.
\n*Ulvi Hasanli was arrested on 20 November. The next day, the court sentenced him to 4 months’ imprisonment on the smuggling charge. Hasanli denied the charges and linked them to a corruption investigation carried out by “Abzas Media”.
