The journalist faces a sentence of imprisonment from 5 to 8 years.<\/p>\n<p>Gasimova became the sixth journalist and media worker arrested on the Abzas Media case.<\/p>\n<p>From November 20 to December 14, Ulvi Hasanli, director of \u00abAbzas Media\u00bb, Sevinj Vagifgyzy, editor-in-chief, activist Mohammad Kekalov, who collaborated with the publication, as well as journalists Nargiz Absalamova and Hafiz Babaly, were detained and arrested.<\/p>\n<p>All are accused of smuggling currency.
