This was reported to Turan by his wife Sevinj Sadygova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to her, it was announced in court that a criminal case under the Article &#8220;Extortion&#8221; was opened by the Azerbaijani Interior Ministry on 10 May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;In June in Baku, I made an enquiry to &#8220;Asan Hidmet&#8221; about whether there is any criminal, court case against my husband, whether he is wanted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The reply to the enquiry stated only that he had a criminal record,&#8221; Sadygova said.
