Consideration of the appeal was delayed because the appeal was not delivered to the court on time by the state service &#8216;Azerpochta&#8217;, Namazly explained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It ought to be noted that on 22 January it was announced that the preliminary investigation in the \u2018Toplum TV\u2019 case was over.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">* On 6-8 March 2024, 9 journalists of &#8216;Toplum TV&#8217; and its partner organisation &#8216;Institute for Democratic Initiatives&#8217; were detained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Seven were arrested for 4 months on smuggling charges and two were placed under police supervision.<br>On 17 January, all of them were charged with 6 more Articles of the Criminal Code on economic crimes.
