Ganja City Prosecutor Adil Valiyev threatened “Azadalig” newspaper regional correspondent Arshad Ibrahimli. A.Ibrahimli reported this to the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety.
According to Ibrahimli, Ganja city assistant prosecutor called the journalist and told him that A.Valiyev wanted to meet with him. During the meeting the city prosecutor told the journalist not to give information which “does not conform to the reality.” “The prosecutor told me, ‘or it will not be easy for you.’”
