Idrak Abbasov is directly responsible for news dissemination and programs, providing editorial leadership for IRFS and Objective TV reporters.
Abbasov has 17 years of journalism experience. He has freelanced for various local and international media organizations and outlets including Institute for War & Peace Reporting (IWPR) and Ayna/Zerkalo newspaper.
Abbasov holds various journalism awards, including local “Media Key Award” in 2007and Index on Censorship “Guardian for Journalism Award” in 2012.
Abbasov holds bachelor degree from the Azerbaijan State Economic University. He also participated in journalism training programs and workshops led by the IWPR, the Azerbaijan Journalism School and the Media Rights Institute.
