Sport for Rights founder Rasul Jafarov transferred to prison

    On 5 August, human rights defender and founder of the Sport for Rights campaign Rasul Jafarov was transferred from the Kurdakhani detention facility to prison #10. Updates in trials of human rights defenders

  Intigam Aliyev   A preliminary appellate hearing took place in the case of human rights lawyer Intigam Aliyev on 6 July at the Baku Court of Appeals. During the trial, Aliyev was kept in a soundproof class cage and not allowed to consult with his lawyer.
