Imprisoned Editor-in-chief of “Gundalik Azerbaijan” and “Realniy Azerbaijan” newspapers Eynulla Fatullayev’s defense lawyer Isakhan Ashurov visited him yesterday (18 April).
Isakhan Ashurov told the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety that he considers putting Fatullayev in the solitary confinement unlawful. “His release from the solitary confinement on 20 April will be a “present” for the anniversary of his arrest,” he added.
