On 25 May, 2011, at 11am, the Supreme Court of Azerbaijan will hear the appeals of Objective Television and Radio Broadcasting Company and rights defender Rasul Jafarov. They are appealing against the conclusions of the National TV and Radio Council's tender for a new radio frequency. The hearing will be overseen by Judge Shahmurad Hidayev.
Journalists, human rights organizations, civil society representatives, diplomatic corps representatives and all interested persons are invited to attend.
