At 11am on September 8th, the International Day of Journalists’ Solidarity, the Union of Editors will visit the grave of late Monitor Magazine editor-in-chief Elmar Huseynov, shot dead on March 2nd , 2005, buried in Alley of Honor.
Human rights defenders, political figures, diplomatic corps representatives are invited to attend the ceremony.
After the ceremony, at 12 pm, the Union of Editors will hold a meeting at the IRFS press center.
