Today, 24 February, in Baku Economic Court #1, under the chairmanship of Judge Tahira Asadova, a hearing was conducted on the joint lawsuit of "Azerbaijanfilm" Film Studio and Professional Cinema Producers Guild against Public TV and Radio broadcasting.
During the hearing, Judge Asadova reminded the sides that she suggested they reach a settlement outside of court. Then lawyer Akber Bagirov presented to Judge Asadova contracts that the Professional Cinema Producers Guild has with other TV channels. At the same time, the plaintiffs put forth a motion for the court to send a request to “Siar” Marketing Research Center” to present to the court a list of the movies broadcast of Public TV.
Judge Asadova announced that she will issue a decision about this motion tomorrow, 25 February, at noon.
