Today, 5 August, in the press center of the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety, a forum was conducted by “Election Monitoring and Democracy Education Center” in connection with the role of monitors and their rights and duties during the upcoming municipality elections.
“Election Monitoring and Democracy Education Center” Program Coordinator Bashir Suleymanli spoke about work mechanism of the center. B.Suleymanli talked about problems in the activity of the district election commissions, and said that effective proposals to solve these problems have already been prepared and submitted to Milli Mejlis.
Representatives of Election Commission Stations and other participants spoke and expressed opinions about the topic.
