Jonathan Henik, Public Relations coordinator of US Embassy in Azerbaijan gave an interview to “Novosti-Azerbaijan” Agency.
He noted that, “The main problem of Azerbaijan journalists-is lack of enough condition for journalism improvement. The journalists in Azerbaijan are pressured, arrested and even assassinated. Elmar Huseynov’s assassination is the evidence for this problem. We hope that, this assassination will be exception and his killers will be punished after their arrest”. Henik also added that, more journalists who operate in Azerbaijan have economic difficulties, some of them are non-professional and the others don’t obey ethic journalistic rules.
