During the meeting a decision was adopted to to appeal to the court about Vusal Hasanov's inapproriate actions during "Azadlig" Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Ganimat Zahid's trial, and to also appeal to international organizations about Zahid's court trial.
In addition to this, the committee als discussed the PACE Monitoring Committee co-rapporteur for Azerbaijan Yevegeniya Jivkova's interview to BBC in which she said she will not call on Azerbaijan's government to release the imprisoned journalists.
