Today, 12 November, Sakit Zahidov visited his brother, imprisoned Azadlig Newspaper Editor-in-chief Ganimat Zahid (Zahidov) in prison #17.
The Institute for Reporters` Freedom and Safety (IRFS) was told this by Sakit Zahidov.
Ganimat Zahid does not have any complaint about prison conditions or his heath, according to Zahidov.
M.Sakit said that he came to mutual understanding with Ganimat Zahid regarding several issues related to him being distanced from Azadlig newspaper.
The journalist added that his activity in the newspaper will be restored as of Tuesday next week.
Sakit Zahidov was distanced from Azadlig Newspaper regarding the problem to not be able to publish his poems in Azadlig newspaper some time ago.
Ganimat Zahid was convicted under articles 127.2.3 (hooliganism with intentional infliction of minor bodily harm) and 221 (hooliganism) of the Criminal Code and imprisoned for four years.
