Yesterday the Insitute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety reported that “Caspi Matbuat Yayimi” Limited Liability Company won the investment competition on stock for “Azermatbuatyayim” Open Stock Company.
In connection with this, today IRFS spoke via telephone with “Gaya” Press Distribution Company Chairman Khanhuseyn Aliyev. Aliyev said, “Talks on this matter started six months ealier. And I understood that this distribution company and the others will all be controlled by one person. This process has already been started. Everything is under a monopoly in Azerbaijan. It is the monopolization of the distribution company. Another distribution company-‘Gasid’– is also expected to unite under “Caspi Matbuat Yayimi” Limited Liability Company.”
