INTERNET CLUBS CLOSED IN NAKHCHIVAN

As of 29 February, at the order of the leadership of Nakhichevan Autonomous Republic, internet clubs in Nakhichevan City were closed.

The same thing also occurred in different cities of the republic, according to “Radio Liberty.” After all the internet clubs were closed, the Internet Center at Communication and Information Technology Ministry is the only center to function now. Harmful sites young people visit are reportedly the reason of closure of the internet clubs.
Independent journalist Hakimeldostu Mehdiyev, who is based in Nakhchivan confirmed this. He said that while there are no internet clubs where he lives, all of those operating in the Nakhchivan city have been shutdown.
