JOURNALIST SHAHIN AGABAYLI KILLED IN CAR ACCIDENT

Poligon Information Agency Director and Milli Yol newspaper Editor-in-chief Shahin Agabayli were killed in a traffic accident this morning.

The accident took place on Baku-Astara highway, in the Garadag district. His colleague Agil Alasgarli, Editor-in-chief of Yeni Cag newspaper, was driving the vehicle.
Both journalists were taken to the hospital after the accident, but sadly, Agabayli’s injuries were fatal. Alasgarli has a broken leg but is otherwise stable.
Agabayli’s body was taken to the Republic Forensic Examination Department. After examination, a farewell ceremony was held outside the building.
The 34-year-old journalist was buried in Neftchala, his birthplace.
