JOURNALIST’S BOOK BANNED FROM SHOPS AND KIOSKS

Independent journalist Eldaniz Elgun’s book “13 days 1001 nights” is being banned from shops and kiosks.

Elgun told this to the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety. According to Elgun, he gave the book to kiosks in metro stations and the bookstore of the Azerbaijan National Science Academy, however he was told that it is not possible for them to sell such a book. They people Elgun spoke to, said the reason for this is the content of the book.
 
The book is about an Azeri prisoner of war who falls in love with an Armenian girl, according to Elgun. He added that the book explores interpersonal relationships, and personal feelings.
