According to today’s edition of “Bizim Yol” newspaper, on January 14 “Lider” TV channel operator Anar Ibrahimov was stabbed.
Two unknown men approached him on S.Mehdiyev Street, in Baku city and ordered him to handover his personal belongings. When A. Ibrahimov expressed his protest against this, one of the men stabbed him and then they took his mobile phone and fled. After the incident, the journalist was placed in the First Aid Hospital named after Musa Nagiyev.
A criminal case has been instituted on this incident in the Yasamal District Police Department.
