The Ministry of Justice will place the list of registered mass media in Azerbaijan on its official website.
A source in the ministry told this to the Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Safety.
On 24 January 2008 IRFS appealed to Justice Minister Fikrat Mammadov, seeking a list of the print media already registered with the Ministry of Justice in Azerbaijan. IRFS didn't get a reply to the request and contacted the Ministry yesterday (6 February). A representative there said, "The list is too long to send by regular mail. The list will be posted on our web site within three days."
