PROVOCATION AGAINST MILITARY JOURNALIST

Last week on Friday, 14 November, provocation happened against “Gundalik Baki” newspaper assistant editor-in-chief, military journalist Uzeyir Jafarov.

Jafarov told the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety that the brake system of his car has been broken down.

“I parked my car in front of “Memar Ajami” metro station to go to work by metro since there was a traffic jam,” said Jafarov. “At around 11:30 p.m. I returned to get my car to go home. Fortunately I realized before my car sped up that the brake did not work. I stopped my car with difficulty and checked its brake system. I found out that the tube to stimulate the brake was cut.”

Jafarov noted that he is constantly stalked.
