The Azerbaijan office of IREX (International Research and Exchanges Board) will launch a new project about online journalism within the framework of its program to assist media.
The Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety was told this by Deputy Director of the IREX Media Assistance Project Shahin Abbasov.
According to Abbasov, IREX invites journalists working in different regions and cities (Ganja, Mingachevir, Shirvan, Lankaran, Barda, Guba, Zagatala, Tovuz, Sheki and so on.) of Azerbaijan to take part in the project which will begin in July. Trainings will be carried out for people participating in the project and some journalists will receive honorariums for their work.
