Imprisoned “Azadlig” Newspaper journalist Mirza Sakit (Sakit Zahidov) has sued Arshad Hasanov, the chief of the Prison #14, where Sakit is being held.
“Azadlig” Newspaper director Azer Ahmadov told this to the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety.
A.Ahmadov added that Sakit still has not been transferred to a different prison.
Recall that according to Zahidov, attempts were made to kill the him in Prison #14. Therefore, Zahidov is suing the chief of the prison. Zahidov also demands that he be transferred to a different prison.
