“YENI AZERBAIJAN” NEWSPAPER EDITOR-IN-CHIEF DISMISSED

According to "Mediaforum" website, "Yeni Azerbaijan" Newspaper Editor-in-chief Algish Hasanoglu has been dismissed.

This decision was adopted today during a board meeting of the ruling Yeni Azerbaijan Party (YAP). It is expected that "Yeni Azerbaijan" Newspaper will conduct an editorial board meeting in the evening and the new editor-in-chief will be introduced to the newspaper's staff.  
The Institute for Reporters" Freedom and Safety tried repeatedly to contact Algish Hasanoglu and Yeni Azerbaijan Party (YAP) but there was no answer.
