YOUTH ACTIVIST NOT RELEASED ON BAIL DESPITE APPEALS OF SOCIO-POLITICAL FIGURES

A group of Journalists waiting for the APFP Head Ali Karimli to leave the Baku City Main Police Office, were dismissed from the area, Radio Liberty reports. According to the report, Azadlig reporter Ramin Deko and Yeni Musavat reporter Samir Kazimli were dismissed from the area in police cars.

“The police first dismissed the party activists from the area before the police office. When they tried to dismiss us, we said that we stood there to obtain information and waiting for Ali Karimli. The police claimed that people had complained about us. We objected to it, then they took us by police car and left near Javanshir bridge, and warned us not to approach the area,” the journalist Ramin Deko said.
Today, APFP Head Ali Karimli was invited to Baku City Chief Police Office to testify  regarding the 2 April rally. He was first summoned to the police on April 16 and questioned for 8 hours.
