In Baku Court of Appeal, a jury presided over by Judge Vagif Mursagulov heard Afgan Mukhtarli’s appeal against the illegal inspection and unauthorised access to his Whatsapp and email accounts, lawyer Elchin Sadigov has said. The court has rejected the appeal.
Afgan Mukhtarli personally told the court that he was still suffering from health problems and exacerbated stomach pains. Besides, Mukhtarli was visited by employees of the Ombudsman’s Office yesterday. But the visit did not solve his problem with heating up his food. Lawyer Sadigov added that they had exhausted all domestic remedies in all cases and were going to apply to the European Court.
