Yesterday the journalist Polad Aslanov, being held in the colony № 1, was made an ultrasound examination, and blood samples were taken for analysis. This was reported by his wife Gulmira Aslanova.
In addition, Aslanov’s teeth were examined, and it was decided to have them extracted and treated.
He was advised to have framework put in place at his own expense and he agreed to this.
The treatment will be carried out in the medical unit of the colony.
Besides, in the nearest future the journalist will have an echocardiogram.
It should be added that the journalist had been seeking to have the above examinations for many months.
Finally, the problem was solved positively after Aslanova together with the wife of another arrested journalist Afgan Sadygov, Sevinj Sadygova were last week received a few days ago by high ranking officials of the penitentiary service and the main medical directorate of the Ministry of Justice.
