On Monday evening, the editors of Abzas Media reported that in the morning, public activist Muhammad Kekalov was detained and taken away from his house by plainclothes police officers. They did not allow his mother to approach him and forcibly took Mohammed out of the house.
During his arrest, the police did not show a court order or any other document. Personal belongings, including Kekalov’s computer were confiscated. Mohammed’s brother reported this to Absas Media.
Despite many hours of searching, it was not possible to establish the whereabouts of Mohammed Kekalov.
Recall this youth activist manages a number of projects aimed at supporting minorities and people with disabilities.
