The Nizami District Court has chosen a preventive measure in the form of arrest for a period of 4 months against former diplomat Emin Ibrahimov, lawyer Agil Layidj told Turan. The court decided to detain Ibrahimov in the Shuvelan pre-trial detention center. Ibrahimov denied the charges against him. Stating that “there is no law and right in this country” in protest against unjustified criminal prosecution, Ibrahimov went on a hunger strike.
