Today a group of journalists once again gathered in front of Milli Majlis (National Parliament of Azerbaijan Republic) to protest against the draft of Law on media. In the course of action the representatives of media faced violence on the part of police.
The police in a rude form tried to dissolve the action members and demanded that the journalists leave the area. Several journalists suffered as a result of that interference. According to medics due to the incurred trauma Nargiz Absalamova will not be able to work for three weeks. The journalist informed of her intention of applying to court.
