The previous list, released on September 1, also included 122 people. However, since then bloggers Elchin Hasanzade and Ibrahim Turksoy have been released.
* The list was compiled by the director of the Institute for Peace and Democracy Leyla Yunus and the head of the Center for Monitoring Political Prisoners Elshan Hasanov according to the criteria for defining the concept of “political prisoner” set out in Resolution No. 1900 adopted at the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) in October 2012.
