ABSURD BAN OF FILMING AND PHOTOGRAPHING IN THE BOULEVARD

The Sease Boulevard Office has filed a response letter to an inquiry submitted by IRFS. Specifically, employees of the Seaside Boulevard Office under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan a while ago prevented IRFS representatives from filming and photographing in the boulevard.

IRFS sent an inquiry to the Office questioning about the reason for the ban and wondering what law they had relied upon when imposing this ban..
Tle letter  sent by Nazim Majidov, deputy head of the Seaside Boulevard Office on July 18th 2011,  says that “The claim that the employees of the Seaside Boulevard Office under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan did not  allow  IRFS representatives to film and photograph in the boulevard is false.”
Taking the letter into consideration,  our employees headed for the boulevard with the copies of the letter in their hands.  However, they were not allowed to film again.

We called the Boulevard Office and said that, what they have told us in the letter does not coincide with reality. They gave us an absurd answer: “You are free to film and take photos of the boulevard, trees and other things.  However, you must get permission from us to interview and film the people in the boulevard”
