“In Azerbaijan if a ‘black PR’ campaign was being carried out, at that time the opposition press would be at the top of the list,” Presidential Administration Socio-Political Department head Ali Hasanov told journalists today.
“We want criticism in the press and in the electronic mass media to be within the framework of ethics. In Azerbaijan it must be learned to work within the framework of the journalistic code of ethics, people rights and honor and dignity must be respected and this must be applied. People with a pen and microphone in their hand, and a camera on their shoulder must not speak to others in a loud tone.”
