The Architecture and Town-building Chief department of Baku City’s Executive Administration (BCEP) responded the appeal related to the erection of a memorial in honor of slain Azerbaijani journalist Elmar Huseynov, who was editor-in-chief of “Monitor” magazine.
Tomorrow (January 17) at 12 p.m. in the office of the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety, a press conference related to this matter will be conducted. Journalists, and representatives from NGOs and journalism organizations, as well as the diplomatic corps, are invited to attend.
