Azadliq newspaper correspondent says he is under surveillance

Arshad Ibrahimli, Azadliq newspaper’s correspondent in Ganja region, has told the IRFS that he is being followed by an unknown person in the past few days. According to the journalist, on January 22nd he received a phone call from a person claiming to be an employee of Ganja City Police Office, who told him that he had been taken under surveillance.“Next morning I noticed a plain clothes man following me. Possibly they suspect me of publicizing information about a conflict between former police chief Rasim Musayev and Ganja City Mayor Elmar Veliyev” said the journalist.
