Council of Europe Secretary-General Terry Davis expressed his concern about journalists being imprisoned in Azerbaijan a press conference held on January 22 in Strasbourg.
Responding to a question from “Turan” News Agency regarding Azerbaijan’s political prisoners, Davis said, “I have appealed to Azerbaijan’s government to release the imprisoned journalists several times. Some of them have been released, but that does not mean the problem has been solved.”
