Tomorrow (2 May) at 1:00 p.m. a roundtable will be conducted in International Press Center in honor of World Press Freedom Day.
The current situation of the Azerbaijani Press will be discussed. After the event the graves of founding “Azadlig” Newspaper Editor-in-Chief Najaf Najafov and slain “Monitor” Journal Editor-in-chief Elmar Huseynov will be visited. This was reported to the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety by the Committee to Protect Freedom of Speech.
