Mursal Isayev, the administrator of the Facebook page “İsayevin səhifəsi” (Isayev’s Page) has been arrested, his relatives have reported.
According to the reports, Mursal Isayev was first fined for violation of traffic rules related to pedestrians, but was then charged under article 310 (resisting the police) of the Code of Administrative Offences and sentenced to 7 days of administrative detention.
A few hours after Mursal Isayev’s arrest, it was impossible to access his page on Facebook.
The “İsayevin səhifəsi” page (Isayev’s Page) had close to 100,000 likes and had recently begun to share critical posts and photos.
