FEASIBILITY STUDY CONDUCTED TO OPEN FOOTBALL TV CHANNEL

“A feasibility study is being conducted on opening a football TV channel,” Elkhan Mammadov, the Secretary of Azerbaijan Football Federation Association, said in an interview to extratime.az, responding to comments of the Association’s President Rovnaq Abdullayev about the creation of such a channel.

“We don’t know anything about the structure or form of the channel. We are still conducting analysis. The creation of the TV channel depends on the desire of the audience. If there’s no desire, then there’s no sense in opening a channel,” said Mammadov. He mentioned that AZTV is also planning to open a sport’s channel. “We’ll consider this as well and see how much space will be given to football on the AZTV sports channel.
