Today, 11 September, in the Press Center of the Institute for Reporters` Freedom and Safety, Citizen Yolchuyeva Sahibkhanim Hasan gizi held a press conference.She said that although she and her husband suffer from serious illnesses, they can not receive treatment because of their difficult financial situation.
“I suffer from serious fibroma,” said S.Yolchuyeva. “My husband, who has tuberculosis, receives treatment for tuberculosis in the T.B. prophylactic center №7 in Buzovna. Although we sold our house and spent money for my husband’s treatment, nothing changed. I need to have an urgent surgery.”
Yolchuyeva Sahibkhanim emphasized that they appealed to Khocahasan hospital, Baku City Head Medical Office, and the Ministry of Health several times; however, none of these organs did provide any help.
“After I appealed to Heydar Aliyev Fund`s President Mehriban Aliyeva regarding my difficult situation, the Fund sent a letter to health organizations asking to help with my surgery urgently. Both Baku City Head Medical Office and the Ministry of Health ignore M.Aliyeva`s appeal,” added Yolchuyeva.
