Yesterday, 6 October, Azerbaijan Committee against Torture Chairman Elchin Behbudov visited imprisoned editor-in-chief of “Realniy Azerbaijan” and “Gundalik Azerbaijan” Eynulla Fatullayev in Prison #12.
E. Behbudov told the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety, “I went along with Eynulla’s parents to visited him. He doesn’t have any complaints about prison conditions or the attitude of prison employees towards him. And he doesn’t have any health problems.”
E. Behbudov added that E. Fatullayev’s case has been accepted for consideration in the European Court of Human Rights and Fatullayev is waiting for the court’s decision.
