According to APA, citing information from sources within law-enforcement organs, several government organs and physical persons appealed to court asking for the issuance of a decision to cancel fine charges some press organs should be paying as a result of lawsuits.
The lawsuits of those government organs and physical persons against “Yeni Musavat” and “Azadlig” newspapers a while ago were fulfilled, these newspapers were fined in different amounts and their bank accounts were frozen.
In the beginning of October these government organs and physical persons, appealing to Yasamal District Court and Benegedi District Court, asked to stop the execution of the decisions according to which the newspapers have to pay fines and to unfrozen their bank accounts. The courts considered the appeals and issued decisions to unfrozen the bank accounts.
