Starting next year, Azerbaijan’s “KaTV1” cable television provider will start providing the population of Baku with high-speed internet. APA reported this, citing sources in the head office of “KaTV1.”

“Starting in January of next year we will be ready to provide residents in the capital with high-speed internet,” a representative in the office was quoted as saying.
“KaTV1” has been operating since 2005. The company received a license from the National TV and Radio Count in August of 2005 to act as cable network company.
