NAKHCHIVAN TV CHANNEL RECIEVES WARNING

Nakhchivan’s Television and Radio Council has sent a warning to “Channel-35”

TV channel, which operates out of Nakhchivan and is a state TV channel funded by Nakhchivan’s Communications and Information Technologies Ministry. “Channel-35” employee, “Voice of Nakhchivan” Radio Anar Rasulov told this to the Institute for Reporters’ Freedom and Safety and noted that, this notice was given because the TV channel was allocating too much airtime for TV program about animals. “But this notice does not correspond to regulations the channel is obligated to fulfill,” said Resulov. A.Resulov also added that the TV channel’s administration is going to send a letter to Nakhchivan Television and Radio Council about this matter.  

IRFS tried to contact Nakhchivan’s Television and Radio Council to inquire about the warning, but received no response.
